What We Accomplished

Secured over $1,000,000 in state grants for:

Fence around Police Department

Completing the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Wall

Dial-a-Bus garage

New Pickleball courts at Stephen’s Park

Lights for softball and baseball fields in Little League Park

Inclusive and handicap accessible playground equipment in Washington Heights and Circleville Parks

Created and serve as the first ever liaison for Veterans’ Affairs in the Town of Wallkill

 

A Proven Track Record

Public Safety

• Fully accredited Police Department

• Largest Police Force in town history 51 full-time & 15 part-time police officers

• Added five speed humps throughout town

• New speed trailer, five speed radars and body cameras for all police officers

• Implemented Mobile Mental Health Unit to address mental health issues

Rural Character of the Town

• Implemented moratorium on all development along the Kill

• Launched an environmental study to examine the wildlife and vegetation along the Kill to ensure our natural resources are protected from development

Project Development

• Completed walking Rail Trail in Circleville Park

• Continue road safety efforts

• Attract reliable high-speed internet provider as alternative to current suppliers

Taxes

Passed all 10 budgets under the tax cap

Rebuilt Finance Department to ensure responsible management of taxpayer dollars

Re-approved visitor hotel tax which will generate millions to offset resident taxes
